Just ordered my Injen SRI and Skunk2 3" muffler last night. The SRI shipped earlier this morning, and I am hoping the muffler will go out today, too. I went into the exhaust shop and talked to the owner again. $80 for the 3" to the muffler, $140 with the flanged straight pipe he is gonna make once it's all set up. With a tip. Fucking excited!

            My SRI came today!

            Here's the box:

            The packaging:

            The hardware:

            The pipe:

            The filter:

Vacuum hose that came with it:

            Some beauty shots:

            And a rad sticker:

I am extremely happy with it. The quality and weight of the materials is outstanding. The welds and bend are clean. The packaging was legitimate, not just balled up newspaper. Everything was in perfect condition, and accounted for. I am hoping to put it on tomorrow morning. The wife has the car for work. The muffler gets here tomorrow!

Ive always loved these accords just couldn't see myself getting one being that everyone around here has them.

I also thought that the V6 came with leather interior.

              Check Out My Work In Progess . . . . .

                  Some pictures of the muffler.

Its loud and mean. Sounds like a Nissan at low rpms, the a Rb or JZ motor at high rpms. Lol As weird as that is. I love it though.
                  Some quick photos.

                  On the lift.

Here is a short sound clip of the exhaust.

                        A) Good luck keeping that intake tab attached. I've broken 2 so far. They may be quality company but it's still cheap aluminum tubing.

                        B) The LX v6 6G is kinda like the DX CB, lol. It's actually a pretty smart idea; v6 in a base model car.

                        C) Can't say that I'm feeling the exhaust. I'm all for single conversions but I dislike the muffler and im definitely not a fan of the crazy angle.

To each his own, but it's among the best mufflers on the market, and the angle really isn't all that dramatic in person. I dont like the X axis angle. It scrapes.

Goodies on the way! Updates soon. I'm also thinking of doing the valve covers wrinkle red. Opinions?

Wow. It has been a long time! So. Updates. I got my exhaust redone. Went with a Yonaka 2.5" resonator, to a dual HPF titanium tip. Sounds way better, no drone, and isn't a massive muffler. Haha I love it! Not to mention, with the test pipe on, it screams! Sounds like an exotic super car. I love it! Even with the cat, it turns heads like never before. I've accomplished some other stuff lately as well. Blacked out the headlight lenses, unfortunately the driver's side lens is still crap. The driver side headlight didn't have any seals, so it was full of dirt and other nature. Gonna have to locate a new one. Also went full red with the tails, Plasti-dipped the rear badges, removed the front emblem, and painted the wheels and hubcaps. Yes, the hubcaps, I can't stand them, but I can't afford to replace them yet. It's definitely taken a turn for the better. Plans call for repainting and repairing the rear bumper, a sub setup, and lowering it.

Just some odd shots. Got more on the way. Also planning a meet in Downtown Sac. This one is going to be open to everyone though, not just Hondas.
