Ironic hood poppage

Well I was on my way to the mini south jersey meet with mayberry and doctorcipher, i was all excited, i just put on my new baby poop, i mean rosewood, brown hood that eric gave me (spotless, dentless, new hood) and so we jump on the highway to go down. now get this, the reason i was going down was to pick up a new *hood latch* from deevergote, so i could latch my hood down finally... not far down the road, hear a really loud smash, and i couldnt see crap, i knew instantly what happened. my hood popped and smashed my windsheild, sunroof, and bent/wrinkled the actual roof of the car.

i have a secret championship white 91 EX sedan lined up, i should be picking it up in a week or 2 and swapping everything over to it, including my trunk lid, bumpers, sidemouldings, entire interior, motor, rear disc brakes, etc. and here we go again with loads of swapping work... but ill be moving onto my third white sedan cb7 so far... and my H22 will have been in all of them... lol

you cant realy see the damage all in the pics, but im going to move on. ive only had this car what, 6 months? and within 2 weeks i have an accident and this happens and it goes to crap.

I was in the car when this happened (I was just riding with Mike since not more than a minute or two before, my Accord had just suffered a blown headgasket...yay).

Seriously, the loudest sound I have ever heard. He handled it well though, just using the small field of view left underneath the hood to pull over. Everyone's okay so don't worry. Just, fuck... 2 accords in one day, kinda makes me wonder what's next.

heh, i dont think ill be makin etown :\ and id still like to go to CT, might have to take my parents car, or ride with somebody. we will see, that may be the day i need to go down and get the replacement car towed....
