ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Made some adjustments. Please confirm if now you can see the pics.
    Thanks.

I haven't even thought of the rear yet because I want to complete my front bumper first. I had never touched fiberglass nor filler in my life before this and I've done a horrible job with it. The idea is to blend the upper part of the original CB7 JDM front bumper with an EG front bumper.

Grainy pics were taken on old celphone, please bear with me. I'll post better pics in a few. And no, there is no lip. It's a hybrid CB7 JDM + EG front bumper.

Side skirts are mounted over and around the OEM. I used pop rivets on the upper side, which sits right under the door, making them almost invisible.
On the lower back side I simply used screws to give it balance.

I just started working with fiberglass myself, it's a learning process that's for sure. I have a friend who does boat repair and SOME DAY he's supposed to show me the proper way... Until then I've got free license to screw around.

There's an additive for your resin that makes the surface comer out smooth without gel coat, have you tried it? It should cut down time finishing the product.

I missed this when it was first posted. I like it! A little rough at first, but the final product turned out quite nice. Honestly, it's a strip of plastic... whether or not it's intended to go on the car, or on the side of a house... it's ultimately the same thing. The final look of it is the important part, and I think it came out pretty good!

the final result of them look a lot better, and that bumper cover is bangin. it does change the whole attitude of the car, as it sits it looks almost like a BTCC car minus the livery. good job.
