haha...SWEEET!. ... so do you get nervous driving it ?
Ya the first time I hit 15psi, the whole front end lifts up a bit. Kind feels like you are almost floating on the ground. Took my wife for a spin today and she grabbed the Oh shit faster then I could pop my evil grin. She said ok I’m good. No need to go that fast ever again. Of course I had to push it again .

I think I’m going to push it to 18 tomorrow. That’s where I’m going to stop for now. Especially since the block isn’t sleeved. I know Alex cracked his sleeve at 21psi.

So do you know the power you are making currently?

No. Right now the closest dyno that allows you to just do dyno power pulls is an hour and 20 mins away. So I have to go when I have at least 3hours to go do this. Supposedly there is one here in town. But I haven’t been able to get a hold of them.

Tested out the launch control today builds about 4psi within 2 seconds. No shooting flames or crazy loudness but it gets the job done:

Well as long as I’m not flying on Wednesday, I am set to do 3 power pulls to see what she is putting down. Looking forward to it. I’m hoping it makes at least 350 to the wheels but we shall see. Stay tuned!

Dyno day postponed. Apparently the shop got struck by lightening yesterday and fried the dyno. Kinda sucks was looking forward to seeing what numbers she is putting down. But that will have to wait..

So just an update on this: as you can probably tell from my WTB post, I am in need of a Headgasket. The other day when I took it out for a spin I did a couple pulls and on the last pull, my temp gauge spiked. So I pulled off immediately popped the hood and found my overflow reservoir completely full and coolant spewed everywhere around the reservoir. Waited for it to cool down and saw it went back to normal. Drove it home stayed out of boost and everything was fine.

So long story short, Headgasket can’t handle the High boost, so need to get a new one, except Honda discontinued our gasket.

So head is coming off again.... anyone ever use the freezer plug on the back of the block to drain the coolant, I’m curious how it is sealed.

I never used the rear passage to drain the coolant, always at the rad connection. And I do have a head gasket I believe (OEM) if you want me to ship it from Canada...

So found some time this weekend to get the old headgasket out and the new one in. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. Planning on doing that tonight or tomorrow.

Ignore the red circle as I was trying to show someone the oil Tee

Sorry forgot to get a pic of it all put back together, but yall know what it looks like.

Anyways, everything looks good, no scoring on sleeves and after swapping the HG I did a compression test and got 190/185/185/190. So motor is still nice and healthy. Should be picking up the high boost tune again next week and hopefully be done with the tune.

Also speaking of the freezer plug, I attempted to use the plug, but could not find a good position to get enough torque on it to break the seal. So I ended up doing it as I always did through the radiator connections.

What about the head mating surface to the block? You didn't clean it up at a machine shop?

I got the head resurfaced. Anytime I pull the head I always take it to get resurfaced.
