Since we just started about 2 weeks ago so it's me and him and we might change it to only JDM cars. The requirements FOR NOW are very simple since we won't be doing huge cruises until January but it's:
        1. Have a license (maybe permit depending on car)
        2. Have a car
        3. Being able to meet up and help members if u can.
        4. By January. We would become a racing team, so cars would need to be able to run in about 12 secs on 1/8 and 16 secs on the 1/4 mile. Time WILL change.

Another so cal racing team. Good luck. As I support locals.

Edit: wait, is this a car crew/club, or racing team? Just wanting to clarify so no one gets confused. U said jdm cars mainly, but most people build their JDM cars for meets and show events. Then u mentioned racing quarter mile time,? Don't take it the wrong way, I just want u to b more clear. Thanks and again, good luck.

I'm not looking to join but I do support people that want to organize a group to chill and work on cars.. Now a days you don't see a lot of people helping eachother wrench on cars.. I should know because almost 90% of the time when I call people to come wrench on my car they aren't "available".. It may be true that we all have diff work schedules and stuff but I just don't see people making an effort to lend a hand, you know what I mean?

With that beeing said u can count me in to help your team/club with turning a wrench

I'd be careful and not just invite anyone and rep your team without screening them. Who knows, someone might give you a bad name. I've seen teams who have no discipline and have their own peoples get into a lot of shit because of wannabes and show-offs.

I heard through the grapevine about somethings said about 2SIIC being a bunch of snobby dudes... I wonder how that came about?

Thank you it is much appreciated!!! And yeah I do know what u mean, a lot of people are just lazy or don't want to help. But sometimes they can't actually make it or actually a lot of people don't want to be responsible for anything that goes wrong. Haha but again thank you and we will keep that in mind. Thanks!

I'm glad to see you're actually planning on racing. I never got the point of teams that did nothing but hang out and put decals on their cars. That's not a team... that's a club. What's with the "JDM" though? Aren't your car and your buddy's Altima both USDM? No matter how many overpriced JDM parts you bolt to your car, your car will always be USDM.

If you want a racing team, sign up fast cars and/or good drivers. Don't worry about style. Let the performance on the track speak for the team, not how "JDM" the cars are. Since you're looking for a very reasonable range for quarter/eighth mile times, you should be focusing more on finding fast, consistent drivers. For your time range, you should be looking into bracket racing... as there is still some glory to be had there with a slow car. With so many affordable cars running low-13 second quarter mile times with very minor modifications (Japanese cars, too... not just domestic V8s), your 16 second cars are going to get laughed at unless you compete in a type of racing where you actually stand a chance of winning.

There was a girl in a bone-stock automatic 4 cylinder 6th gen Accord in my area that was very well known at the track. She dominated bracket racing. Why? Because she knew her car. She knew how to run a low 17 second quarter mile time precisely... repeatedly. She would bang out consistent 17.2 second times (I'm making that number up, but it was about that...) pass after pass... and she won, because she knew how to hit that time right on the nose, every single time.
