I don't know if this will work on a camry. Check out www.toyotanation.com for that kind of infomation.

As for the quick reply, there's a button you can press right next to the "quote" button in the posts.

Does anyone know how to check if the ECU is faulty? I use to get CEL codes and did a little tweak (replaced my dizzy) and the blinking is gone. Now the check engine light turns on for a few seconds and then turns off. I tried to check if my ECU is still good by disonnecting some of the sensors like the temp/coolant sensor, but I dont get any CEL code. Is that a bad sign?

Yeah, but the list is just a general list that they have kept... not all apply to our cars.

Eventhough my car has never given me a CEL , today I decided to pull codes (stored codes) for the heck of it. I jumped the wires on the blue connector and turned the switch to 2. The CEL came on but never went out even after I waited a minute or two. I then started the car (jumper still on) and the same thing happenend.

                        What does that mean?

when jumped, if theres no codes stored, the CEL will stay on solid. disconnecting the jumper will return the CEL to an off state. this doesnt mean you have a faulty ECU, unless:

when the CEL is on and you jump the connector to pull the code and the light doesnt flash at all, thats a sign of a faulty ECU.
