    Mounting Aftermaket Gauges

Looking for some ideas on mounting my air/fuel ratio gauge.

I am trying to avoid the typical gauge pods.

I considered relocating the heat&air controls to the glove box and getting some aluminum and mounting the gauge there.

Will consider most ideas. I wanna stay low key but be able to easily read the gauge(s).

Considering the fact that you don't have AC or anything really in your car, relocating the HVAC controls would be pretty easy, I think.

Small update. I have been slowly working towards relocating the hvac controls to the glove box. I have extended the wires for the fan control, but not the vent selector. I cut a slot in the bottom of the glove boox just big enough to allow for the plugs to pass through. Mounting in the glove box is still in the air, but I have some ideas in mind.

I will be adding 3 gauges to the old HVAC control location above the radio.

I decided to extend the wires and put my heat&air controls in the glove box. Made a little wood holder for the controls. It's not perfect but it will do.

^ That is kinda how i mounted my nitrous pressure gauge in my old cb7 .I housed it in a sunpro pod and mounted it in a tilted position . If people can't see it the better off you are. Hey Keith are you going to carpet over the wood or leave it like that ? It would look sick if you stained it.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

I plan to leave it as is. That has stain on it in the last pic. It's not the look I wanted, but it's what I had at the house.

Gauge setup is almost complete. Just gotta fine tune the aluminum fitment to the opening on the dash trim.

As nice as the cupholder idea looks... I don't see it being very practical. Isn't the point of A pillar pods so you have a more direct line of sight with the road and gauges? I personally don't see it being very safe to look down just to know what your temp's/psi are.
