I like the grill. Looks like your Camaro has a big evil grin on it.

Thanks, you kind of dont see them alot and i dont really know why since it changes the car; maybe because the grille and lip cost almost as much as a ZL1 front conversion? The interesting part is that you can fit a heritage grille on a ZL1 bumper and in my opinion it makes it look retro agressive too, plus i am not a big fan of the whole making cars look like the next tier package.

Now i need to stop being lazy and install the stainless braided hose kit on the car so that the Brembo brakes get the proper pressure and maybe down the road get a rear diffuser set up for the quad exhaust tip since the exhaust kit i bought came with both a single and dual tip set. So much for the whole "im just gonna buy a car that has enough power and sports appearance so that i dont have to spend time wrenching on it" . What is interesting is that everytime i take her out i get that nervous feeling and anticipation you get when you first take a car out on a test drive, king of pre-date jitters.

Ok so today i finally decided to install the SS brake hose kit i bought months ago as the brakes didnt feel adequate even being the top kit for this car, my first bad sign was when i took coffe colored brake fluid from the reservoir and followed fluid taking almost a minute to leak from the rear lines as i removed the old hoses. I was trying to keep myself calm as the dealership supposedly did a brake job a day before i picked the car up but one side of the calipers had absolutely no fluid in it therefore the rear calipers werent engaging thus the poor brake feel. I spent a whole 32 oz bottle of fluid and decided to stop since i would hate to get air on the ABS system if i get too low getting all that old shit out of there, boy am i glad i got my brake bleeder last year as it saved me alot of time so far.

          That's some proper sweet tea.
And exactly why I don't trust dealerships or anybody selling a car anymore. I might look like an asshole, but a good seller would understand me wanting to see proof of everything.

Yeah you would think that being a Chevy dealer they would know that the Brembo calipers use 2 bleeders being one for each side but somehow there was only fluid on one side of the calipers thus the crappy braking since the calipers were not grabbing properly. I just got back from getting a second bottle of brake fluid to get all that coffee out of the system, the scary part is how many times i exceeded 130mph (closed roads of course ) with a sub par maintained brake system.

Just received a set of gray wire sleeves to protect my wires from the high temps given off by my headers, i will post a pic later once i finish installing them as it rained down on my ass while i was on the 4th one.

For what its worth; i had purchased a set for my Z28 back in 2011-12 and paid about $40 while now they are as affordable as sub $10 and did not have to take apart my wires this time around to make them fit.

Sonik, I just purchased a Cam kit and just waiting on all the small odds and bits to slap it on; specs are:

                  In./Ex. Duration
                  223/235
                  In./Ex. Valve Lift
                  .637/.637
                  LSA
                  112

Will be using a Brian Tooley platinum dual spring kit with this thing, just FYI the factory cam on my car is only rated at

                  L99 Camshaft Specs
                  Duration @ .050 in. (int./exh.) 195°/201°
                  Valve Lift (int./exh.) 0.500 in./.492 in.
                  Lobe Separation 115°

with a ported intake by yours truly and the intake/exhaust and trans mods that i have already i am expecting 470-5**whp due to the massive power losses caused by the 6L80 transmission but crank figures should be near at or exceeding 600hp specially if you consider that the factory manual ZL1s in my gen put down 511 to the wheel.

Do you have any sound clips of the exhaust anywhere?

The day once i am working again and have money to spend rather than digging into my savings like a dummy and of course find a cheap LSA unit; i am actually looking at installing a ZL1 converter for this exact reason so when i do it everything is ready. I am gonna be putting down factory ZL1 numbers as is pretty soon with the cam and porting. I was pulling up on a Scat Pack the other day finally just to see the Hellokitty logo on the fender, i know my limits so i let off; tried to roll my window as i was coming up on him at the light and he pulled a Richard move jumping in front on me to avoid talking .

The below is the cam i bought.
