My friend Reese from around the way lent me a hand. He arrived around 4:00, we started around 4:30, and had the block and trans back in the car by 6:15/6:30. It felt good.

Remember, we had to carry the block 60' through a basement, up 13 steps, through a kitchen, dining and living room, down 5 steps, and over to the car. That's work!

So? How are things going with this gem?

Not good, not bad. Everything is just about complete on her. She probably will not get out from surgery until it starts getting warm again. So, about 5 months until she's on the road. I have to complete the wiring, install the intake, and tie up other loose ends, and I can't do it now. Too cold!

I have a few things I'll order over the winter for her, and hopefully by spring she should be done. For now, my S-10 is my DD (thinking about putting that V8 in it everyday ).

Man would of thought you had finished the swap by now. Its super fucking cold. I just finished a ton of maintenance on my new sedan. I bundled up with layers to finish haha.
