I am on 16x7 w/205 50 tires and again it is flush, in fact I think it pokes out in the rear... I will scan the wheels to see if the offset is on them but I am guessing these wheels are about +30 or even +25 as they really sit flush. Makes turning a bitch for real w/o P/S

            Would the following work...
            15x8 +12
            205/60/15
this would be on a '90 LX at stock height. would it look weird?
            thanks in advance.

No. It will not look good. Car is too high and tires will b too big. I'm just being honest. Don't want you to waste any money. I would get 195/50 for your tires. And you have to slam it to make low offset wheels look good.

what i experienced with rwd wheels was a friend of mine using 1970's Chevy Vega wheels with studded snow tires on his mid 90's Nissan Sentra. i should have taken a pic as the look was weird BUT he didn't get stuck in the snow at all.

This thread is so old, but will this Acura rim fit my wagon?

98-99 accura 16" with 50 offset? I'm assuming it should?
I lost photobucket after they started charging .. f'n biotches ...

This thread has a lot of wheel/tire combinations for reference:

                        http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=206779

If you do the math on the position of the inner tire bead, many of those wheels result in the inner bead being about 5 inches from the mounting surface of wheel.

                        For example: 15 x 7, 40 mm offset
40/25.4 (1.575 inches) + 3.5 (half the width of the wheel between beads) = 5.075 inches

For comparison, the OEM wheel: 15 x 5.5, 50 mm offset
                        50/25.4 (1.968 inches) + 2.75 = 4.719 inches

                        For the Acura wheels: 16 x 6, 50 offset
                        50/25.4 (1.968 inches) + 3.0 = 4.968 inches

So the Acura wheel puts the inner bead 0.25 inches further inboard than a stock wheel, but doesn't put the inner bead surface quite as far inboard as the example above, so they should fit. Your outer bead surface will be 0.25 inches further out than the OEM wheel.

edit: Paul .. if worse comes to worse, could a 5mm spacer do the trick?

I've seen those on CBs. They are close to stock, they should absolutely fit.

It would be painstaking to update all of the images in the front of this thread,
very understandable ... never thought I'd even need this info ...
