Re-visiting this final engine bay modification, the upper braided rad hose. After 4 alterations..... what do you think?

Will cut it at the black line...

    final product...

    Slight grade..... enough?

If this will flow, and works. Then this will be the final product. But... will the two 90deg. cause a flow issue, not sure. Also I need to make a bracket that holds the line up off the lower rad hose.

braided rad hoses look super clean!

Read about slipping tires on dyno...
PFIspeed uses spray adhesive AKA "dyno sauce"
This eliminates tire slippage on high HP vehicles even with smaller tires
      Hope this helps some

      Keep on keepin on

If I understand it correctly dyno sauce is pretty much hair spray. Makes the rollers and the tires stickier therefore less slippage. I'm not 100% sure though but the little bit I've looked into points in this direction.

Raf the radiator hoses look fantastic now! Glad you finally found an iteration that worked like it should.

I'm glad I randomly found a video of a very similar hose to give you the idea.

            Thanks man!

I shortened the upper radiator hose. Going to give this some thought before I commit to it.

Ya, if it were not for you I may not be here with this rad hose.
So spoke to the tuner and some car folks I know, they all agree. May limit coolant flow a tiny bit but it should work. Only one way to tell......

I like the look. I'm probably missing a more important purpose but why 90's as opposed to 45's?

The hose would not bend anymore than this, so with 45's it was just not happening. Also the 45deg. ones I cannot find in this color or inside diameter.

I'm not really liking the look of it, but I'll at least see if it's functional.

Oic. Looks good though. I really like the idea. I really like that PS pump too!

Well it's functional at idle and if it works for a test drive then I'm calling this engine bay complete! I may add a turbo blanket in the future but not much else.

To think that I started working on this turbo build 9 years ago.... wow.

man that looks really great. you took your time but dang it turned out nice! I like that the plumbing is out of the way so you can see the smoothed bay.

looks like you figured out a good option for that upper radiator hose, too. everything fits nicely and looks so fresh!

youll want a turbo blanket once eventually the housing starts getting surface rusty...
