      Nailed it, swap out the starter. Alternator check out with my multi meter. Thanks to those folks who gave input and help.

        12.2 is way too low. A fully charged battery is 12.6v. 12.2v will never charge the battery fully.

        There are 6 cells in our standard 12v battery which give out 2.1v each. If your battery is giving readings under 12.4v do a load test.

        An alternator charging at 13.5-15v is considered within the universal spec.

        Again, the ideal range is around 14.3v under load for the CB7. That means with your high beams, wipers, blower, radio, defroster (anything that creates a load, turn it on). If your alternator is putting out around 14v, odds are you’re good to go.
