If you still believe the printed numbers sure. My 98 acura cl is rated 28 mpg highway. I get 32 on road trips through the mountains at make great time speeds. Some companies are facing lawsuits for their mpg claims. Food for thought.

I rather like the Ford Fusion Energi Platinum. They depreciate like a Ford (less the F150) so used prices offer *a lot* of value while still offering great fuel economy. The "Platinum" trim is filled to the brim with options and it doesn't look half bad:
