I told myself I wasn't going to make a Members' Rides Thread, but I take and post so many pictures while doing various things to my car I figured that a central thread to collocate them all wouldn't hurt.
I bought the car on 2011-10-08 for $1000. My previous vehicle, a 3.1L V6 Buick Regal, spun a rod bearing that I wasn't willing to fix. I love driving and decided I wanted to learn to drive a stick shift, so the cheap Honda was a perfect choice. I had no intentions for the car other than to buy it, learn to drive it, and then use it to get me around town.
Here are some photos of the car as of 2012-06-21. The body is in pretty much the same condition as it was when I purchased it.

Less than a week after owning the car, the transmission blew up. After driving nearly 200 miles, I found out there was no transmission fluid in the transmission. I could tell something was wrong, so I picked up some Synchromesh and called it a night. I was unable to get my fill bolt off the next morning, so I set out for my folks' to use my father's tools. The fifth gear needle bearing blew up less than two blocks down the road. I had to get it towed two blocks back home where I then proceeded to fix the transmission; why did it have to be fifth! Photos of the transmission work can be seen in this album.
