Don't flame me but I have been using this since it's release last summer:

    https://www.harborfreight.com/20v-ma...kit-63852.html

It actually looks like a Milwaukee knockoff.

As soon as I bought it I charged it and went to the junkyard to test. Removed a couple of Honda harmonic balancer bolts (19MM) and a couple of CD5 and CB7 axle spindle nuts that were staked. It never broke a sweat. Still till this day there hasn't been a bolt that it hasn't removed.

    To each its own.

I also purchased their 2-year warranty. When the warranty is almost up I go to the store and redeem the warranty for a new one and pay for the two-year warranty again. There are 2 Harbor Freights within 15 minutes from me.

I think HarborFreight equipment have their place, with that being said once you go into the $200 range i would look at a better product. I go in for things like sockets, ramps etc but their electric items have failed me before(drill that i could hold still by hand and a buffer that wont start). Its like looking at a Kia, they are fine as inexpensive vehicles but once you start looking at the top of the line you are better off buying somewhere else. Just my 2 cents.

Now Im thinking of getting a 3/8 to take apart everything minor such as pan bolts etc. Only problem now is that it sits so pretty in the box I may not use it Hahahahahaha

I am having a first world problem right now; as i went to pay for a new Milwaukee 3/8 impact to take care of those smaller bolts(10,12,14mm etc) but i notice that i can get the 3/8 as a bare impact(no battery)for $120 or a Dewalt 3/8 impact set(2 batteries, charger and bag) for $130. I am torn between this as i dont need a high torque impact due to having the 1/2 inch one already.

Which ecosystem do you want to be a part of?

I ask myself this question a lot when it comes to battery powered tools. 3/8 impacts by almost every brand are good for light duty work.

A few months ago I got the Dewalt 20volt 1/2 drive. Came with a bag, charger, and two batteries. The thing took off the wheel nuts, crank pulley bolt, and both axle nuts with ease. So awesome

So I used the 1/2 inch impact yesterday to install my trailer hitch back on the truck; without the impact it would have taken me at least 20 minutes but thanks to the impact it was on in less than 5; if anything I just had to keep an eye to not snap the bolts.

I saw the Dewalt and it was actually my first choice due to their reputation in the power equipment department but then opted for the Milwaukee due to their new lines.

I like the Milwaukee products. I have their 3/8 electric ratchet I use all the time. I've been wanting to buy their 1/2 impact gun.

Is that mid torque one you guys bought free up the cb crank pulley bolt??
