    EXT: Custom Rear Spoiler

Well since my accident i've been trying to source another Rear visor spoiler and actually contacted the company EGR. EGR usa e-mailed various suppliers and also out of country plants and sourced the EGR Taiwan plant to be the only one that made the particular part. (on the wing it says made in australia) but according to the distributor the master mold was at the taiwan plant.

The head of distribution there said that the spoiler has been long discontinued and the actual mold has been lost! So yeah if you see one of these spoilers on e-bay or wherever you are finding a rare piece more rare than any flushmount.

Well here is my project i've been working on. Lots of my friends thought i was crazy for making 3 trips back to my crash site but I actually found a majority of the fragments enough to piece together the spoiler however I'm missing like 3-4 shards I constructed it pretty good.

This is a fiberglass version of the spoiler and it took me weeks to perfect the missing section of the spoiler. But here is prototype #1.

    ENJOY!

And Please do not PM me on whether or not this will be in production or not. I've been working on this since December and it's very time consuming.

So it is you Kurobei. Why the name change?

And how does the corner sensor work? I've actually never seen the complete kit.

Good to know your making a full comeback in a reincarnated car

Thanks. Yup thats how the original looked like for the CB. At different angles I do admit it looks kinda wavy, but if you look at it from the side or directly from the back it's awesome. It also looks weird because it's just fiberglass right now. If I prime it, the detailed curves will come out better.

This is my favorite picture of the spoiler on the car:

I still use my kurobei sn as well. Part of the reason why I have a new sn is because my other inbox gets flooded like no 2maro from time to time. Under this screename I may use it only for one purpose later....

As for the the corner sensors. I haven't had time to mess with my car as much as I would want to. After March 12th i'm going to have lots of free time again and maybe have time to mess with the kit.

The JDM corner sensors were a CB9 Wagon exlusive part. They kinda look like the bmw sensors but have a little "eye" or circle in the middle rather than a flush square plastic piece like Euro cars equipped with them. BMW, Audi etc. I'm not sure whether or not i'm going to install this kit or use a bumper pole.

I'll post more info on it 2nite in the jdm section.

Yeah I guess so considering what EGR themselves actually told me. On the wing itself it says made in Australia but after EGR went and passed the part # around EGR taiwan claimed to be the only one with the mold thats now lost. EGR australia and a few other EGR companies didn't even have that part # listed in their database! EGR USA was like, what part is that? The format of the part # isn't like theirs!

When it's on the car and u look at it from the side, it's actually no longer than a CTR OEM rear spoiler. From that picture, u are looking at a top view. If you look at it from the side, it doesn't appear as big.
