    91 headlights on 92-93

I've already searched the forums and I know that there are differences in the headlights.

I was wondering if anyone actually had pictures of 90-91 headlights on a 92-93 accord. This is pretty important.
I recently retrofitted tsx projectors into my 91 lights, and am searching for a new vehicle. I want to expand my searches to the latter gen of the 4th gen series ie. 92-93 accords.

Any help, or clearly explanations would be greatly appreciated.

    Nice forums btw!

why do any pictures matter if you know they'll fit?

for the 1,000th time (perhaps literally):
90/91 headlights and corners will fit on a 92/93.
92/93 headlights and corners will fit on a 90/91.
it helps if you have the matching grill for cosmetic completion, but is not absolutley necessary.

    90/91 bumpers will fit on a 92/93.
    92/93 bumpers will fit on a 90/91.

90/91 parts onto 92/93 aren't as common, as most people feel that the 92/93 is a little more refined/rounded/less square than the 90/91.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

people were talking about gaps, so I wanted to see it.
sorry im not familiar with the 92-93 accord as I always stared at 90-91s...but that might change.

thanks for the heart warming welcome

          G, thanks for the photos.
          that helps a ton!

edit: so i guess even if i move my 91 corners, grill and headlights and install them on a 92-93, there will be some misalignment...

no, that bumper isnt aligned properly, accord_inspire (the poster of those pics) adressed that issue already. look at oneoffaccord's car, his is a 90-91 with a 92-93 bumper on it.

while true, that's not drey's question/concern. the question/concern was 90/91 headlights on a 92/93 body and bumper (pic above). not 90/91 headlights on a 90/91 body with a 92/93 bumper (oneofaccord's). confusing enough there?!

sorry, you read my comment/question wrong.

i was saying if i took 91 headlights, 91 grill and 91 corners
and install them on a 92-93 accord that it will misalign

oneoffaccord's has a 91 accord with a 92-93 front bumper. his grill, lights and corners are still from his 91 accord

edit: uncle_el posted right before me. haha

just so everyone's clear, they will fit. there may be a bit of misalignment (age of these cars, structural integrity after accidents and the like, the curves and lines of the headlights wtih the bumper). whether or not this is a big deal is personal preference.

ive never seen this question asked -> anyone know if the lens of a 92-93 would fit on a 90-91 housing and vise versa?

you'd have to seprate the lens from the housing of each headlight. then, take the parts you want, line them up, hope they line up right, and reseal them. i don't think it would be worth the time/trouble to do so, but that's just me.

i would imagine there would be some fitment issues since the curves/lines of each headlight are just slightly different.

but, the question has been asked before by flyinlow :
                      http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...hlight=housing

he feels that this is possible/doable (putting a 92/93 lens onto a 90/91 housing and vice versa).

90-91 one piece headlights w/ 92-93 grill...close enough to your description.

i personally did not like the fitment at all.

like i said earlier, i think it comes down to personal preference on the aesthetics, rather than will it simply work. i can't remember how many times i saw your car when i was in atlanta, and the pics that i took, but honestly i don't ever remember thinking anything about your headlights. i can see the difference now that i'm looking for it, but i never would have thought anything if you didn't mention it.

just so people who come to this thread understand, again:

most definitely personal preference. i didnt have those headlights long though, due to the fact of the fitment issue. i sold them and moved on to the 92-93's, what i should have done in the first place.
