Why bother go return them and get the right pair. Lates.

They are going to look square'ish(sp?) , and won't fit right with your 92-93 bumper. I would rather get them returned less work and will look a lot better.

you've been getting an answer that you're not willing to hear/listen to.

you have a new set of lights, apparently of the wrong year. all of us who have chimed in thus far have suggested to send the lights back, and get the correct ones. that sounds much easier, manageable, and makes more sense then it does to take off the housing of the old headlights, to put them onto the new ones.

you're assuming that the old housing will fit onto the new headlights.

again, it seems easier and makes more sense to get the correct set of headlights. but so far, you're unwilling to listen.

if there wasn't a difference, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Uncle_el...no sir that is not the case.I heard you all correctly, but my question was not directly answered.I was given an other option which I already knew of and I dont really feel like paying for these lights to be sent all the way back to LA when I live in South Dakota. Its a simple question for people that know something about switching the lenses over.I have never been someone on here to not listen or to post annoying stupid threads.I have much respect for you all I think I just failed to give you ALL the information needed to give me the answer I am in need for...

separate the lenses as you would for doing a blackhousing oven diy. then attach what you want.

of course this assumes that they'll fit appropriately/correctly. the 90-91 headlights are different from the 92-93 headlights. we already know this (after all, if there wasn't a difference, then all 90-93 headlights would be the same). where that difference lies seems to be the outer lens itself.

i'm a big fan of do it right the first time. you ordered the wrong lights or the wrong lights were sent to you. it makes much more sense to me to just get the right lights, then to hope that the 90-91 parts will fit with the 92-93 parts.

Well they are interchangable, just in case anyone was curious.I dunno why but I did not feel good about your responses uncle_el...Maybe you were just having a bad day or something.Sorry if you did. But I had recieved the wrong lights, I did not order the wrong lights.I have had a cb7 around for 6 years, I think I can order the correct parts.Sometimes a person just doesnt have the option to "do things right the first time" or in my case the fault was due to another person. I did what I could and finished with flying colors!Just didnt appreciate the way I was treated. But ohwell this is just the internet right.
