are you using the 5spd tranny mount?
and i believe the bracket has to be cut off and mounted up higher, but not quite positive...H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

Yes you do, like phatdoughnut said. Hit bustedlx on a PM, he'll tell you exactly what you have to do. I think he's doing one soon. He mentioned to me you have to cut and weld, if you don't your axle will pop out.Originally posted by phatdoughnut

5speed mount bracket:

automatic mount bracket, notice the different shape.

you need to cut off the auto bracket and weld on a new 5spd bracket from the dealer, and you need the 5spd rubber mount:

looks like the auto mount bracket is the same position, just higher up... and the manual tranny and its mount mount have the long studs that hold the mount to the tranny...
now for the million dollar question:
can you use small sections of pipe / stacks of washers to space out the tranny mount from the tranny, so the tranny will be low and in the correct position, while the mount is higher up, lined up with the auto mount bracket?

my original plan was to get everything put together, with the mount sitting in place with the motor installed and running, and limp the car to the absolute closest place (not far down the road) and get it welded. i figure it would sit and hold some weight, while the rear mount would hold it from sliding forward or backward too much... although it sounds like my dad knows someone with a portable arc welder, may ask him to stop by and do a little welding for me instead
