car boggs when taking off.... wtf.... help

car idles great but once i step on the gas it boggs reallie bad.... change the iac, tps, check all vacums, redid timing, and still continues to bogg... a friend told me to check my map sensor and for the wires (no clue wat me means by wires)... but the sad and dumb part is i dont know where the dayme map sensor is... so if any one has a picture of it on the 1990 accord f22a4 please help a brotha out... gotta get it fix by this up coming monday... school ahhhhh

reallie.... i dont think thats the problem for me tho bc i had a h22 in it and it ran great... didnt have problems till i down graded to the f22a4.... but ill try it out thanx

Is the car smoking, or do you smell gas coming from the exhaust?

What ECU are you running?

The single cam I had in my 90 Coupe would do this, and eventually blew up. I'm not sure if the headgasket blew, or if it was something else. I didn't tear that engine down to find out.

mine did this a few weeks ago. I cleaned my injectors and EGR. Runs like a champ now. Just throwing that out there

did you calibrate the TPS sensor? .45V at idle and 4.5V at Wide Open Throttle? If you just threw it on there, that's def. not good.

same symptoms here
mine studdered really bad 2 weeks ago...


then again a few days ago, but only after its been hot,
im a try a test pipe inplace of the cat to c if its a clogged cat.
ill get back if it fixes my bogging issue

could also be bad EGR ports...but lets hope that's not the culprit. GL dude!

i need help too,
my cat. or o2 sensor wasnt the problem...
changed the fuel filter too

i dont know if its a coincidence but when i had a test pipe
n place it didnt do it, but i ended up payin 220for a new cat
to b put on(im here n cali damn laws) and right when i pulled away from the muffler shop it started bogging again

so i said f**k it ill dish out another 45 and bought the o2 sensor today
and it didt fix the bogging... it almost feels like its missing but it doesnt do it when the car is cold... thats what confuses me

what culd it be??
i miss drivin the cb
