White smoke? Blue smoke? Green smoke?

I figured I'd clear this up since I keep seeing threads pop up about smoking cars.

White smoke is steam from condensation of water within the muffler and exhust system. Excessive white smoke could mean you have a blown head gasket and your radiator fluid is being burnt.

Next is black smoke, this is from unburned fuel. The engine is running far richer that it needs to be, you probably need a tune.

Number three is blue smoke. This is usually associated with oil consumption. Burning oil makes blue smoke, so your rings or valves are probably bad.
