ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Dash Removal?
Collapse
X
-
Take off the steering wheel first it will get in your way and it needs to come off later anyways
Take off the black dash bezel ( you will need to remove the center console to do this )
Undo all the wiring that clips into the dash
Drop the steering column
Take out the glove box
Take out 2 bolts on each side of the dash and 1 behind the clock
Your dash should be ready to come out
I've done 2 dash removals and 1 dash install.
-
remove the center console around the shifter/ebrake (6 screws)
remove the airbag (3 plastic covers on the sides and bottom, unplug the airbag, remove two torx screws holding it in)
remove the steering wheel (line it up straight, remove 19mm)
remove steering column bezel (2 or 3 screws)
remove the blinker/wiper levers (3 screws to remove SRS reel, 2 screws to remove assy, also unplug both plugs)
remove black dash bezel (like 10screws.. on the inside above each air vent, above the radio, behind coin tray and ashtray, above gauge cluster, behind each button)
remove the clock ( flathead pry from the left side)
loosen dash (7 black 10mm bolts, 2 each side, 2 bottom, 1 behind clock)
youll need to unplug the 3 harness plugs that are mounted low, behind the radio pocket.
youll also need to unplug the main harnesses that run down the steering column, the ones that plug into the fusebox and stuff)
youll need to disconnect and remove the a/c control box since the control cable connects to it
that should be pretty much everything...
