Pretty sure that would cost EVEN MORE than just a straight up swap...mostly because of all the extra stuff needed to make it work.

but more importantly...because it would actually REDUCE hp and torque

H23 would be the cheapest from the F22AX, mainly you just need the engine and the ecu and a few odd and ends. It'll be cheap but not really cheap. You have to pay to get a good used motor just remember that.

I hate to say agree with Mitch, but I agree. I spent a few grand, but I drive mine 200 miles about 2 times a month to San Antonio, on top of daily driving it, and so far, Ive had an alternator go out(retained stock during swap), and a rubber plug started leaking coolant. Save, and then do it right.

UpullandPay is a great place, theres one just northeast of me off of I75 here in cincy. That's where i got the majority of the 5spd swap parts.

I haven't been there in a while but they had a few teggys with B16s in them, they once even had a prelude with an H23 that was complete but i came back another day with more tools and the whole car was gone.

the right motor is whichever one you want..if you wait long enough you can find a good motor for cheap..

I got my H22 complete minus the dizzy and fuel injectors for 150 bucks..but mine had blow by and am going to have to rebuild the motor, which I dont mind because I was going to rebuild it anyways for the knowing that it was done right the first time..
