ALL right my tach went out in my cluster the other day it has 184K on it i have been to every junkyard in this city and cant find one my options are buy a used cluster off ebay or just buy a universal tach and just mount it to the dash and leave the old cluster in there the problem with ebay is i cant find any with 184K or less..... what would you do in my situation???

blackex is cool... so far.
try pull a part
well find out whats really wrong with it first. may save you few buck.
if it just the tach motor that is dead. just get any jy don't matter what model.
the motor will be the same and thats all you need to replace. also check in the
back of the cluster. if you can see what appear to be rust or burn spot on the circuit board usually on the side then the whole thing is fried. then get it replace. try car-part dot com these are site for jy listed what they have in their inventory locally.

but i dont want to take risk of messing the cluster up by taking it apart... something i forgot to mention the tach has like a mind on its self sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt and sometimes it likes to move up and down very fast also every thing else in the cluster work just not the tach.... the website u have given me also doesnt have a cluster around here...
