k, i know the volume of the head i have now (a1) but im not sure if the dohc f22 combustion chambers have the same volume? anyone know off the top of their head?

JDM F22B DOHC non-VTEC head volume is about 47.2 cc
USDM F22ax SOHC non-VTEC head volume is 50.5 cc
JDM F22B DOHC non-VTEC combustion chamber volume is about 65.7 cc
USDM F22ax SOHC non-VTEC combustion chamber volume is about 69.1 cc
Combustion chamber volume is slightly different than head volume by the way. Combustion chamber consists of head volume, compressed headgasket thickness volume and the piston-to-deck height volume.

thanx man. yeah i was a little tired when i wrote that. i know the head volume and comb, chamber volume a diff. anyways needed to see if they were the same or not, so to see if a dohc f22 head would raise my c.r. any. also is that why the dohc f22 has a 9.5: cr and the a1 has an 8.8:1?what tedious question?Comment

JDM F22B DOHC has a 9.2 CR, but yea it's in the smaller head cc basically as the bottom end is basically a F22ax.Comment
