ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    My 1993 Honda Accord LX

Hello everyone! First time posting to this site even though i've been a member for a few years now. I've had my CB7 since January 14th 2013. I have put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this car since i first bought it. This car means so much to me for one reason. It was the first car i have ever owned and i have made sure to take good care of this car since it came into my hands. Anyways, This post will be showing the progress of my 1993 Honda Accord LX over the years. Much more to come as i just bought JDM head lights and JDM fogs with the 50/50 tail lights. Need to do work to them to get them clean. Once that is done i will install them to my cb7.

Things i want and have planned for the future as of now.

    Clean and install JDM Fogs.
    Install JDM Headlights.
Clean and install 50/50 Tail lights.
Get better looking wheels that fit the car better.
    AP1 cluster swap. (some day)
A head unit with a screen. that pulls out)
Fix all the rust and re paint it black.
    Get leather black interior.
Do a engine swap when the engine goes. (Not sure on which engine to put in it. K series, H22A Red Top, B series, Etc. Haven't made my mind up)
Swap it to a stick shift.
Possible trunk swap with a stock spoiler from a coupe.

    Anyways. Here is my project.

My car after a few months of ownership. 0 mods done to it.

Keep the car red man. CB Honda Accords have some great original colors. Bordeaux red is one of them. And this is coming from a guy with a black CB. It’ll look real nice with black leather interior also. Is it me or does everybody with a CB love and want black leather? Lol
I guess if I had a sedan I’d feel the same way. Cool car. Keep it red

What did you use to get the plastidip on the hood? I used wd40 to take it off rims. Worked like a charm, definitely needed elbow grease but probably because I was being cheap with the wd40 lol

I heard that WD40 can damage the paint. I used it at the top left corner of the hood and stopped to do more research. I came across dip dissolver when i was doing more research and this stuff eats the plastdip away and from what i heard it does not hurt the paint. It cost like 25 to 30 if i remember right for a 32 oz bottle. Now from what a friend told me, He told me that this stuff can cause cancer if it gets on your skin later on down the road, So i put gloves on a long sleeve shirt on and a breathing mask on to protect myself. Not sure if it is true or not, But i wasn't taking any chances. But this stuff works great and after like 5 coats of the stuff it just came off. Now make sure you do not get this stuff on any plastic on your car, Because it will eat the color away. Just a heads up.

Here is a video of the dip dissolver

I've always loved the color black. I have a black 2000 Honda Civic EX couple. If the time ever comes that i want to do a color change i would love to paint it black or white. Those are good colors to have for a CB7 imo

There may be truth to that. I’ve used it on paint many times but never let it sit on paint like you would have to while getting rid of plastidip.
