ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

If all the numbers are close you are ok. It looks like #1 is a bit lower than the rest. You should also do a leak down test though.

you think a leak down is really necesary to see wats up with #1? i mean he kinda kept up the second time lol. and i think its strong enough since.....

( if its even relevant ) when i drive in d4 ( auto tranny ) and kinda floor the gas, cylinder one ( gear one ) gives off the most push when shifting into second. it even makes my whole dash kick. its kinda rough. i hate when it does that. ( kinda like if my mounts cant control the engine movement when it makes that first gear transaction. im not sure if that is something with the mount or the tranny itself. all other gear shifts are smooth and dont make my dash kick)

whats up with that. i would really appreciate some help.

          thank you guys so far.

i would just because. the numbers are fine and seem in spec (less than 15% difference).

Ok, the repeat was unnecessary, lol. But...
                A) Cylinder one is not gear one. Cylinders are in the motor, gears in the transmission.

                B) The transmission shifting hard under hard acceleration is a sign that it's starting to go bad, ESPECIALLY if it's only in select gear(s) and not the rest. So, take it easy on take off. My fiance's Integra does the same thing through first and second, thus we are doing a manual trans swap

                C) I would do the leak down test for sure based on cylinder #1's numbers. Best to see if it's a head gasket or a bigger problem, and best to catch it early if it IS a bigger problem.

Good luck! And take care of that [relatively] low-mileage motor! it will treat you well if you treat it well

Your transmission is fine, check the fluid and drain/refill if needed. Honda auto's are hard shifting by design.

Compression numbers look pretty good to me.

I say you do a leakdown test..it'll take the same amount of time as the compression..so why not

                      lol just learned something.

and i think i will do a leak down in the future. my tranny fluid is new and ive checked it recently and its fine. i cleaned one of the shift solenoids ( the one that i could reach better and it was already cleaned. there was no need but i did it anyway )

well, who knows if the auto tranny is going or not cus its only rough in the first shift all other ones are perfect. btw the tranny has 166k miles on it and the f22a1 engine has 98k miles
