Why would you install an extra set of fog lights even though you already have a pair of fog lights? You say you use them when it's "reallllyyyy dark outside", but isn't that the point of High beams? To use them when low beam bulbs are insufficient? At least if you're using your high beams, they're properly aimed unlike the fog lights that were probably shoved and screwed in behind the grill. Not trying to bash on you or anything, I'm just letting you know that it's probably a bad idea and you will be hated by oncoming drivers for blinding them.Last edited by ThePhoenix82; 02-29-2012, 09:11 PM.

I fell you on having extra lights. The rally comment was a jk. I leave for work at 1030pm with a 45min drive on a highway with very little light. It be great to be able to see a further in front of me. Dear, coyote, and hunny badgers don't give a damn about you that late at night.
The law here in ks is no more than 6 light projecting forward.

people 'may' think your a 2006ish mustang as you approach them. edit, darn, I'm not the first to notice that
Its unique, thats for sure.
I read further it seems you removed them, to not blind other people, It should not be a problem as long as you do as you said, and only run them when you need them. But a set of HID's in the High Beams should be enough light to meet any need you'll face.
I once installed a set of 100watt foglights on the back of my old cb, to indicate to people to turn their brights off. That never worked. But they did make outstanding reverse lights at night, as I tied them into the reverse lights as well. Once I got pulled over for speeding 10 over; the cop asked me about them. I told them they are my reverse lights, and he said, OK. He also let me off for the speeding... I miss those lights, ALOT, but my current car does not have a spolier to tuck them under.Last edited by KB7; 03-03-2012, 06:06 AM._
