You can find them on ebay sometimes or, where I got it, in the classifieds here. Just keep looking!

The "i" stands for fuel Injected, it was the trim for the top model in Europe. The lower models were carb'd

                    Disaster averted!

I took everything apart today, the front balance shaft sprocket loosened up and fell off(opps) destroyed my Genuine Honda balance belt and messed up the timing belt as well. The cam was also 90 degrees off. So I lined everything up, put a new timing belt on and it started up! Ran a little rough tho, so I did a compression test. My results :

                    Cyl #1 - 180 LBS
                    Cyl #Two - 185 Lbs
                    Cyl #3 - 175 Lbs
                    Cyl #4 - 170 Lbs

So all seems well, I'm gonna put more stuff together, and run it to temp for a 1/2 hr or so. If it smooths out and runs ok, I'm gonna throw in the Bullfrog cam

I used a relay and made adapter harnesses from a junkyard car. The inner tails still function as stoplights when its switched off. It works good and the cost to me was zero, as I had all the wire and relay kicking around. What do you guys think?
                      Nice work

To swap or not? That is the question.

So since the timing belt incident I no longer trust the F22 that sits in my wagon. Sure it starts and runs and has great compression, it makes some noise. I haven't put any work into it since then, I was planning to take it off the road for this winter because the rust is eating the car (and me). So I have spent my time since then getting my Civic beater swapped and roadworthy.

My thoughts and dreams have been so far:

#1 - Rebuild the F22 into some sort of monster. I have in my possession a Bullfrog/Gude F22 cam, which is roughly equivalent to a Bisi stg 2. I have the H23 IM and DC sports header installed on the car. I have a spare F22A1 with great compression that was given to me by a good friend. Plus a P06 I chipped for this setup. This would be a fun project as I have never toyed with Honda internals.

#2 - H22A swap. This would be a good choice as well, if I wanted to make this car a summer DD. This car is my baby, after all, but I have another hot rod project (the Malibu) that I haven't touched in a while. I have driven a couple of H22 Accords, one a tuned wagon, and its quite fun. I wouldn't do any other mods to the engine besides a tune, a 200hp DD would get me in enough trouble, although the wagon has a much lower profile than say, a 06 Civic Si.

#3 - Be the first K24 Wagon in the universe! This would be a unique, yet costly swap, but the potential is amazing with these engines. Plus six speed stick is something I've always dreamed of having in the wagon. TSX swap + supercharger=awesome.

All these options are depending on money, of course. School isn't exactly sucking me dry, though I did just drop enough for a H swap to cover the first semester. I plan on doing something about it over the winter and into the spring. Undecided on what to do, so far.

                            Whats your opinion?
