    oil well problem

hey guys 2 weeks ago I had an oil well problem ... I haven't changed the engine head cover gasket sets in 2 years ... I did so 1 week ago ... today I checked ... it's happening again, I caught it at an early stage.

cylinder 3 oil to the brim
cylinder 1 and 2 oil at the bottom
    cylinder 4 clean.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you very much

You said you replaced the head cover gasket? I think you meant the valve cover gasket.

When you replaced this, did you also replace the upper and lower spark plug tube seals? They are circular rubber grommets/gaskets.

yes the "valve cover gasket" I forgot the terminology ... no!! I forgot all about it since I replaced them 2 years ago.

I replaced the upper seals and after cleaning the tube yesterday ... I drove my cb7 to work and then checked the spark tubes ... the oil was residing at the bottom ... so I guess it is the lower spark plug seals ... another weekend gone

          No problem!

Your issue should be fixed when you replace the lower spark plug seals. However, don't reuse any of the other gaskets. You will want to get another set (upper, lower spark plug tube seals and valve cover gasket).

          Good luck
