I love how everyone is like "OMG Ruckus! Scooters are cool now!" Well little history, Scooters have been produced in europe by Piaggio, Parent company of Vespa since the second world war. They make nos kits for specific models of vespa's. Vespas get upwards of 100 mpg, and go 90mph stock from the factory. The fastest confirmed time was clocked a few years ago in saint louis at around 135 mph by a highway patrolman. Keep in mind that scooter was all motor. and had 10 inch tires. Get on youtube and look up turbo vespa, and sure enough a turbo'd vespa on a dyno comes up. I dyno my vespa on a quarterly basis.
What I am saying is, Scooters are nothing new, and even the nicest Ruckus would have trouble keeping up with my 1978 Vespa. So you want to grow some balls? Ditch the ruckus, and go Vespa.

LOL. YES. FINALLY someone else thinking the same thing i am. oy. so tired of people getting their panties wet because honda took out a scooter and nomygod everyone has one. Scooters have been around FOREVER. People just don't realize it. I understand, it is new technology and what not but they've just built on what was already out there. so
