Best way to lower CO rating?

So I went to emission to take the test and passed all the test except for that. Which caused me to fail. The limit is 1.20 and mine was 3.02. Is there a way to go about this to bring it down. I did a F20b swap and I am running a p28 with a phearable.net chip and it is tuned a little rich.

usually o2 sensor, or map sensor controls air fuel ratio. tight valve lash is an indirect contribution.

whats the other numbers? dyno test or two speed idle?

I was having trouble passing my truck a couple years ago...Last time i went through emissions with my Ford Bronco my father told me to use a gallon of de-natured alcohol (got it at ACE Hardware for ~$10).

Worked like a charm for me. I just dumped it all in about 5miles before the test so it has a chance to mix with the fuel. I can't say it'll work for you, but it was the quickest way, for me, to lower the PPM.

I agree on the O2 sensor, could also just be a rich tune.

A little E85 to add some ethanol to the mixture will help a little.
