    °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
I bought my 93 coupe in October 2017.
In May 2018 I pulled it into the garage to install Some Koni shocks with Vogtland springs as well as some watanabe style wheels and just kept going, lol.
I’ll do my best to document what I’ve done the last 12 months.
It would be great to have some feedback or help as I progress, and hopefully it may prove helpful to someone else down the line.
Wish I’d done this from the start because I could have used some insight more than once.
Also, I can't see doing this without the CB7tuner community. It has been an indispensable resource. Thanks!

    I did an ABS delete.
I've also done a full wire tuck, fuse box & battery relocation.
Here is a DIY I made of the process
    http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=210829

The night before I pulled it into the garage

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............
    Day One

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Some of the first work I did was to the suspension, brakes, bearings, and bushings.
    Before

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

    After

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Front bumper was pretty much beyond saving. They had cut the fog lights holes way to big as well.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

New bumper. I carefully cut new holes for the fog lights and ready for paint.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

    The finished product.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

    Engine removal day.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Transmission was hell to clean! Just some minor oil leaks, lol.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

ABS Delete, wire tuck, fuse box relocation to glove box, and battery to trunk.
I extended, soldered, and heatshrinked all wires.
I also made my own block off plate.

If you'd like to see the wire tuck I made a DIY:
    http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=210829

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

For the battery relocation I used 1/0 AWG cables and soldered on copper lugs.
I Made my own battery box. Its lined with truck bed liner, finished outside with outdoor polyurethane.
I vented it under the car through the frame and used weather stripping around the lid with wing nuts to hold a seal.
On the side of it I placed my junction box and circuit breaker.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

The head ready to go back on. Engine had all oil seals replaced, cleaned and painted as well as the intake and plenum. Power steering ,dizzy, and starter are rebuilt. Dizzy and pump polished.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Unwrapped, cleaned, redirected and re wrapped the engine harness.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Epoxy primer, base coat, and clear coat on the bay, underside of hood, flush mount spoiler, and trunk.
The all-clear taillights will be tinted black with LED lighting

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

I spent a lot of time on the graphics. I made them in Adobe Illustrator.
Then I had to find someone with a good enough vinyl cutting machine to cut something this detailed.
So after the white base coat I applied the decal then the turquoise base coat, removed the decal and lastly applied my clear.
Getting them all off between the second base coat and clear was difficult, but think it turned out pretty good.

    .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ............

Just finished the painting today. I had to redo the trunk and flush mount spoiler because I ran out of clear and didn't have enough left to get it to flow. Looked gritty.
Also started on the second radiator retaining bracket. Decided to make my own out of plate aluminum. Going OK, just a lot of hand filing.

Thanks for checking out my work.
I will keep posting my progress.

This is some really nice progress. I love it. I like the color you used for the trans and engine block. What color is that?

Looking great! Glad you finally got an MRT up and going.

When does the engine go in?

Hey man. Yeah, whatever wiring will be seen has gotta look clean!
As far as the DC header, fitment is perfect, including clearance for the AC lines. I checked them tonight so I could let you know. Model is HHC5016.
Haven't seen anything on your thread sense you did the seats. I'll be keeping an eye out for anything new.

Yeah, nothing gets a pass till its been cleaned, polished, rebuilt, or replaced.
Even the bolts and screws are polished, Lol .
I'm glad I finally got a thread up and going. Now I just have to keep up with it!

I've gotten the flush mount spoiler all lined up and holes drilled for the two corner mounts. Perfect fit.
Now I just have to wait for the 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape to arrive.
Decided to go with this instead of the molding tape for something a little stronger and more permanent.

Man I'm glad to hear from some other CB owners in Texas. You in Dallas? I'll definitely be bringing her to some meets. Plan on being at the Import Face Off in Ennis, Tx. this winter,(11-03-2019). Other than that I don't know of any around Dallas. What meets you talking about? I'm for sure down to show when I get her done! Should be rolling in next 2-4 months.
