As you can see from my username, I have a 93 Honda Accord with an h22a swap. Could it be because there's a leak in our radiator, that the temperature goes up? It's a very small leak, but it's still a leak. (Just got enough money to get a good radiator). We changed our thermostat to a new one, last year, we changed it twice because first, the Bosch thermostat wasn't the same size. And then we got a genuine Honda one. The temperature on the gauge, goes up when it's either REALLY hot outside and I'm using my A/C at the same time. OR when I go to long drives that are 50+ miles. Any takers on what the issue might be? Check the fuse to the fans. If it goes hot when you turn on the AC, then it's either the fuse or the fan relay. Turn the AC on with the hood open to see if both fans working.Comment

fan switch, thermostat, fans not working, blockage in the cooling system, head gasket leak...check all those things. An OEM rad is just fine for an h22a swapComment
