Dome light?? Emergency Lights??

Hey guys! I don't know what happened but I just noticed that my dome light doesn't turn on when the door is opened....how do i fix it? "I" think that its a wiring problem maybe something shorted out?

Also my ummm Emergency Lights button don't work. I push it and the lights don't flash. I remember long time ago my dad was fixing the a/c & heater and he forgot to unplug the battery and shorted the whole dash, maybe I just need a new button? Or is the whole entire wire shorted out too?

dome light may not come on because the little black switch in the door is bad. take it out and check it to see if it has power going to it. if it does check it for resistance.

as for the hazards, take the switch out and do the same. once you do this you can go from there.

im having this same problem with my dome light. it works when it wants too when the door is opened. but will work if you turn it to the on position

is it the same for all doors? or just one? if its just one door then check the switch. if its all, check wiring, fuses, etc.

ohhh alright I'll be doing that later this weekend then. since my parents' will be driving the car to and from work!

Its happening to all the door. I put the switch in the middle which turns on when the doors open. So I guess its the fuse. hmmm...I'll check it out and get back to you guys on that!
