          those are still some good tires. Have fun at the track. Hopefully i can get on road atlanta this summer if my car is ready.

                    Im guessing for weight reduction reasons. the door panels have to weigh close to 10lbs each

                      I doubt the side panels weigh 10lbs. I took them out because the side bolsters on the seats rub against them, making it difficult to close the door fully.

                        Oh yea, I didn't think about that.

                        But around 8-10lbs is what a typical front door panel weighs. I weighed a few.
