ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Dsm Im

So ive been curious about installing a DSM intake manifold on the F22A head since the DSM exhaust manifold can be used and if anyone has done it and if so, how it affected the powerband, etc.

    Thanks in advance

You don't use the DSM gasket. You use the F22A gasket and modify the DSM manifold to bolt onto the F22A head.

That is IF the intake manifold can be modified in the same way the exhaust manifold can.
I’m fairly certain an H23A1 manifold would still be a better option, though.

Holy shit, I totally missed the fact that we were talking about the intake manifold and not the exhaust manifold.

um the gasket resemble how the intake runner are on each manifold there obviously to far different to modify them to work your better off make a custom one or porting an h23 intake. if you still do not understand im sorry good luck im out..

The ports would line up. The mounting holes would not. Modification would be necessary to properly mount the manifold.

The issue is in the location of the coolant ports. They do not line up at all, which would be a tough issue to overcome. I’m sure that’s what Jacob was referring to in his rude reply.

I’ve got tons of pics, bare with me and I’ll try to post them up. Forgot I had to host images elsewhere and link them in here (been years since I got on CB7T but it still feels like home.) I can tell you that it’s likely POSSIBLE but the water passages are a mile off. You’d be better off with an H intake I’m sure.
