ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Front end vibrations

I recently installed skunk coilovers and within 5 months replaced them with Tein lowering springs (i think 1 inch in rear and 1 and half in front). Reason why I got rid of the coilovers is because I soon began to get a very annoying high pitch vibration (no shaking or wobble) in the front end area. I assumed I wore out some bushings with the coilovers, which one's i'm not sure. First off I will take my car to a shop and have them check it. But after doing research, I can guess its the upper and lower control arms and front ball joints. My question is are the ones offered at TAS ( full oem kit) the same ones offered on ebay (which are way cheaper)? They all seem to look identical. Any how, feel free to comment. thnx in advance

im guessing that since the ebay ones are way cheaper then that meant they where way cheaper to produce. TAS makes some really good quality stuff i would go with them if you can afford it. you get what you pay for when it comes to car parts

oh yeah and if your car is still lowered i would recomend getting an adjustable ball joint so your camber will be within spec.

Don't get the ebay ones unless you want to change them again within the next 2 years. Sorry, I have no experience with tasauto.

thanks guys (and gals?) for your inputs. Took my car to the a local suspension shop(been there for over 35 yrs, in so. cal), and it ended up just being my driverside wheel bearing. And now it drives amazingly quiet (except for my 2.5 catback). I just have a mild lowerd cb7 now, I believe just 1.5. I will leave it at that and monitor my tires. When I had the skunk2 coilovers on, it was around 2 and half inches lowered and drove like a go cart, was fun, but beat my suspension. I think for my next project I will buy used control arms (upper and lower) and replace the bushings with energy polys, and put them on my cb7. I hope to do a write up. Yup I owe Cb7tuner a few right ups..
