ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Instument panel, clock, power window, and automatic seatbelt is not working.

My friend was practicing driving my 91 accord ex sedan 5 speed around the block. He would stall and cause the car to shut off multiply times. Finally he drove up the hill and the instrument panel, clock, power windows, and automatic seat belts stop working.

Prior to the instrument panel, clock, power windows, and automatic seat belts stop working. I reinstalled my oem radio, can this cause the problem?

I have search around here and can not find a detailed thread on how to fix this issue. Please help me. Thank You.

Sounds like a blown fuse(s) to me. Check all the fuses under the hood and down in the driver side kick panel.

I know the 7.5 amp "backup" under the hood should get the seatbelts workin again, cus i blew this a couple days ago puttin in a radio, but like stated before check them ALL it sounds like you may have more than 1 fuse blown

Are you saying that I need to get a Hanes Manual to see whats the issue is?

It's either the fuses or the circuits themselves.

Check all of the fuses not only visually, but with a multimeter to make sure there is continuity.

If the fuses are all good, check all the grounds and connectios in the area where you did the radio reinstallation. Maybe a ground or positive circuit connection wasn't' fastened correctly and it shook loose, messing with that entire circuit.

Otherwise, investigate by pulling out a component and using a voltmeter to see if you are getting any continuity between the fuse that controls it and the component. then check for continuity between the component and the negative pole of the battery. The clock is probably the easiest to get at.

The power window motor is fairly easy too if you know how to remove the door trim--basically just slip a small pry lever all around the door trim and pop off the clips, then remove the door grab handle and the door lock release lever, and the whole inner trim panel will come off.

do the clock first, it's a lot easier.
