I was asked to provide pictures for a local business calendar. Im pretty excited about it. The calendar goes out to about 630k homes.

I wish I had some good scenery stuff from last year, but ill have to shoot what I can.

    Still smitten with this 5d.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments on the Times Square shot. It's interesting, but it's far from great. I am still sifting through my other New York photos. It's pretty evident going through them how out of practice I am, the majority of the pictures are turrrrrrrible

Kind of on topic, it's a series of photos from my phone that were stitched together using Framelapse, a free application. Worked pretty well, very impressed. It's worth watching in HD on Youtube rather than in the embedded player, so click through.

I drive through Times Square usually every weekend.

        I love it!

And that time lapse is pretty sick!

Thanks man. You love it though? That construction and pedestrian traffic is crazy!

Yea, I know it sounds crazy.

I used to HATE it and would not drive. Id make my wife drive.

I guess as I got older and mellowed out, I learned to appreciate the madness and not let silly stuff bother me, like rude taxi drivers lol or tourists who stop in the middle of the sidwalk without warning.

These days I am usually there every weekend for my 2nd job, ill be there sat 4-12 actually.

I love walking around on a nice cool day and just absorbing the streets.

A friend of mine just built this civic, and asked me to shoot it:

and I just started doing work for Exotic Motors Midwest, an exotic car dealer here in St. Louis. This was one of the first cars I shot for them:

That second shot is perfect! Hard, angular car with a photo style to match.

                  Thanks bud!

I forgot about the videos I'm doing for them.

This first one was a test shoot to see if I can make the kind of videos they're looking for. They didn't like the style, but liked the quality.

I made this one last week and got posted on Dupont Registry: http://blog.dupontregistry.com/lambo...-edition-sale/

Dude, I really like that shot!!

Did some rigging today, it's been too long. I really tried to take the time and compose the image rather than just rig the car and point the camera. I'm not sure if it's done yet or not. I think I want to throw in some leaves blowing off the tires.

I fucking love the new Mustangs. So aggressive.

If I had 60k I would run out and buy one right now haha.

I love these rig shots, I just cringe at the PP needed lol.

I really like this steelbluesleepR , but coming from the ole school, I haven't seen a digital panning shot that has rivaled many film ones.

A Bride n Groom that I photographed once wanted a Christmas Picture done on they're Harley Davidson.
I came up with the idea of a Panning image and they loved it.

H-3 wasn't quite done, and part of it was open to the Military Base and hardly ever patrolled by the cops.
So I got in the back of my buddy's pick-um-up truck with a tripod and had the 2 of them about 15 yards away in the other lane and matched speed.

We got insane images of them, the bike, they're expressions, and the blurred panning was simply amazing ..
So I too wonder about the PP with rigging and digital .. etc ..

I want to do one of my wagon on I-15 next to the strip so I can compare it to what I did with film .. just haven't had the time or a friend with a truck lol ..

                              That's not a panning shot, it's a rig.

This, however, is a panning shot. I shot it this past weekend at the road course autocross with MNdude07:

and here's some product practice that I did today. I'm working on a shoot of a six pack of Heineken tomorrow.

                                Nice shots J!

I just got an email this morning re a Casino Night fundraiser for the school district I live in. I asked them if they needed event coverage and sent them a quote and they accepted, albeit for a little less, but I will change the package up to come out ahead.

It's only an hour and they only need prints on CD, so it'll be easy.

                                First paid shoot woot.
