TypeG, quit posting all this shiny plastic porn! It's too much ... I ... I ... ughhhhh ..... excuse my splooge please.

Is this what it's like hanging out at the mothers.com forums?

Seriously though, I was also wondering "what to do" about my dull scratchy bumper lights. Now I know I don't have to replace them.

I think much of our desire around here to mod is merely to acquire shiny new things, and IMO you're showing us a smarter way. Well done, sir.

yes it is. i used this first:

it has a higher media than the plastic polish and will cut and smooth faster. then chase it with:

i would also use a type of buffing wheel with the metal polish on badly oxidized plastic, but most things you can do by hand. these are some wheels:

          later.

Do you think that this would be ok to do to a dull looking front lip?

if it is bare plastic. i would use this with it:

                        later.

I'm going to try it! I will try and get pictures up, but I don't have a digital cam, just my phone and a scanner! Haha... I will figure something out! Yes, it is just bare plastic! It is all dull and has a lot of little scratches on it... I hope it looks as good as your plastic pieces, that would be freaking great!

Just real quick, which of the polishes should I use? Should I use both of them like you did? Thank you again!

try just the plastic polish fist and see what it does. i would also use the powerball with a drill for faster results.

i only use the metal polish on blinkers and headlights to cut through the film faster. later.
