Ps I was looking up stuff for the Acura rl caliper swap (the 4-pot) and what's needed. I figured to go on the legend forums because since I'm using their stuff, they should run into similar complications if we usethe stuff they use. Found out you need to go at least... at LEAST to an 11.8 inch rotor to kinda work. The stock rl rotors are 12.6", so even my 11.1" would be too small for it. And if you're keeping 4 lug, you'll need to find some replacement rotors in 4x114 and larger than 11.8. At that point you'd have to custom drill rotors to get that setup. The legend two pot is more compact and still alows for a larger rotor, especially a rotor that is off the shelf and available at local parts stores. I think the giy was making custom brackets for them too to get them to fit. :/. Just wanted to let you know my findings since I was also curious about them as well then found out it isn't just the calipers needing custom work to fit

Thanks Vihn. I'm just pushing forward with my vision. It's kinda cool seeing it come to reality. I have been wanting to do this for a very long time.

Thanks bro. I was kinda stuck for a moment myself after installing it.

Actually I have been sitting on the Lip kit for a couple of months now. Spare time is very minimal for me right now. After seeing your kit installed I got the urge to throw mine on. Wait till you see what I have going on for the front lip. Just ordered it Sunday. BNIB. I also payed for another special item yesterday. Now I need to make time to drive down to SoCal to pick it up.

            GReddy GRacer time

Update time. So if you have been following this thread, then you have seen the install of the Xenon Mild rear lip and sides. Well I finally bit the bullet and picked up a front lip. GReddy GRacer was my choice ever since I saw Ronald Type-R's set up.

I have been in love with this lip. It's difficult yet very rewarding picking up 100% authentic parts. The high price is overshadowed but the fact that it's authentic. I know some of you won't like it, and that's ok.

As you can see from this next pic, it was never intended to be installed on this chassis. Like many of CB owners know it is sometimes difficult to find parts that do. Some modification was definitely going to be necessary.

This isn't something you want to think about. You just need to jump in a do it. I actually had to talk myself into cutting this gorgeous lip down to fit the CB. "It had been the plan the whole time." This is the first cut I made as I was going to re-use the end cap for that finished look. Attention to the details has always been key in my build. It's not perfect, but the capped end really gives that finished look. It had I just used some hot glue and Bondo fiberglass support mesh patch to mate the cap and the lip back together.

Trimmed down with the car back on the floor before finishing supports were made. You can see the blue masking tape. It is actually supporting the back part of the lip while I sorted thing out the next day. Mitsubishiv5 and Woody both in the back ground. I was actually starting to soak it up at this moment.

Without the Licence plate seems to be the way to go in my opinion. I love the slightly toned down yet aggressive look in this pic.

Test drive was in order to see if my install was going to hold up. I took a trip to the local grocery store with no issues.

            close up

            top view.

I do have one more addition coming soon.

            Thanks for stopping by.

That lip completes the whole front end bro, it looked great this weekend. I just couldn't get over how aggressive it looks. Your cb just keeps getting better and better, your taking it to the next level. Great job Carlos.

Thanks bro. It's been a long time coming. I just set some goals and continue working towards reaching them. I actually feel that the Xenon sides and rear lip with the GReddy front lip really compliment each other. I'm really lagging on my exhaust though. I have put that on the back burner for so long that I feel guilty. I'm gonna have to do something about that soon.

The whip looks sick! Your car is at the top of my favorite cb's. The hard work shows when you see it in person and the choice of mods is well thought out. Keep it coming.

AMAZING! With the rear lip and skirts your car pulls off that Greddy lip like a boss.

Nice work, bro. Top-notch as always.

Thanks bro. I'm still working on a couple of things. Hope to have some of them set up to Chronicles year.5. I'm really taken back by your words.

Thanks bro. I am really happy myself on how well this combo worked out. I knew I couldn't rock just the lip. The Xenon kit keeps up the consistency quite well. It's interesting how the cues make for a good pairing.

Thanks bro. Quite a few people ran into issues that day for some reason. Uriel broke downward soon as we hit Fremont. Then you had your issues. You going to need a new wheels now? Allen (from CAM) had to go back as well to help someone out.

Really? I loved Ronald's set up. I wouldn't have this lip if It was't for him. I gotta give credit where credit is due. I think his build and mine differ slightly due to his tire, wheel and suspension set up. He had some nice wide wheels without running crazy -camber. His wheel flares definitely added to an aggressive look. Overall I think Ronald brings a clearly unique style to his builds. I feel that my build is slightly less agressive while still complimenting the original lines of the CB. Either way I really appreciate the compliments. I am very greatfull that you guys enjoy the direction I'm taking.

I knew your accord was going to be one for the books! It's not saying much, but your CB definitely has to be my favorite that I look up to Carlos, perfection! I assume you're finished with the exterior now?

I think that is one of the reasons I love your car, it unique without changing the original lines of the car. Your making it a better CB not trying to make it something else. PM me, I want to talk to you about my trip to cali.
