ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    automatic/exhaust

I am wanting to put an exhaust on my car. Cat back or axel back either way. I have an auto tranny. I dont want the car to sound funny, but I want some thing in the form of a performance exhaust. I guess my question is, is it worth it to put an exhaust on an auto and does anyone on here have any opinions on how autos sound with performance exhaust. Its an F22a6 with DC header factory cat and short ram intake. Thanks for your input.

I wouldnt get a big ol' muffler or anything, I would just something that looks simialar to stock but sounds nice and some what quiet but still gives you a little extra umph.

or save up for a 5 speed swap lol

i have the whole standard f22a bolt ons aha, def helps getting around in the autotragic

but i'd disregard all the above...unless you want something obnoxiously loud. try to get a greddy sp2/apexi world sport2 or even a ES oval muffer, nice and quiet!

or can find a rsx muffler or s2000 and get custom 2.5" piping to it.

TY for the info guys. Ill keep in mind teh RSX and S2K mufflers. I would like something witha deeper tone. I had a Apxi N1 on my Civic. Not a bad sounding exhaust.

I joined the FB CB7 page BTW.

yea they are imo the cheapist muffler you can get that doesnt sound like complete ass.

look pretty nice in polished form, throw on a tip and you have a pretty muffler too!

i have a megan header, to spoon test pipe, to 2.25" piping to an obx dual tip muffler. it sounds good. not too loud and not at all ricey. whatever you do, dont get a fart can, they sound terrible. oval mufflers sound best, if youre looking for a deep tone. megan racing sells nice sounding good priced cat back exhausts IMO. im thinking about getting a megan racing type 2 cat-back.
