    Interchangeable Oil Pans for H22?

Are there any other oil pans off of other engines that would fit on an H22?
Like and H23 oil pan... or an F22 oil pan?

after a small amount of research:

the OBD1 H22 has the same part number oil pan as the F22/H23.
    11200-PT0-010

The OBDII H22 has a different pan number.

hope that helps. take from it what you will, someone correct me if I am wrong.

I would only use the h22 oil pan...there's a reason why it takes 5 qts vs only 4 for the F22.

there is a reason but the oil pan is not it, the difference is in the head. Some h22 came with an aluminum pan, and while they are lighter they will break and not bend if you bottom out the car and hit it on something.

Any f22a/b h22 pan will work though.

the part # honda gives are the the same now, since the bolt pattern is the same, and to save some money

oil pan that came with the motors are another story
steel ones are different h22's are about an inch bigger , and yes losi, thats why h22 takes 5 quarts
but so did my f22, and my girls car too, both had deeper pans
im not going to say why they did it, but i prefer it on my motors

That actually does help a lot.

I've read that the other oil pans that fit are deeper. Which would be bad. Cause if they hang any lower that's not what I want. I'll just go grab one from a junkyard and put em next to each other.

Mine has way too many deep dents in it.

I don't know about your area but my pull and pays all drill out a whole in the oil pan to drain the oil quicker then they put the cars in the lot. They generally don't sell the oil pans here because they plug the whole with a piece of rubber that doesn't hold jack back.
