I've always liked those EK's. Are the kids done ricing them out now?

It's funny how one stereotypes a civic now. it's embedded now. Sometimes I see a civic with one mod and I roll up and it's a old mom driving it. I have to remind myself that normal people buy these cars too haha

But car looks great. Nice to see a mild turbo, just enough to keep it OEM looking on the outside but also gives it a little power gain to keep up with modern traffic.

Thanks and "little power gain" it's amazing what 10 psi on a b20 does for it. To say it's quick would be an understatement. It's fast , my biggest problem is traction , I can spin them doing 40 just getting on it in 2nd. I would say it's stupid fast for what it is once I'm out of 2nd ,
I am going to lower it a little properly and put drag radials on once I kill these front tires to help with traction

Yep, every time I see one with rims and aftermarket "N1" style exhaust, I think to myself "damn, lost another one."

Stock wheels and 1.5" drop would be perfect imo. Nobody would see it coming.

What's the HP of it now and how much does it weigh?

Nice set up. I hope you are dumping the wastegate straight into the hood?

Yeah I just have a dump pipe , this is what I made
And I dont know numbers , it was street tuned and it probably weighs more then stock with the b20 and and turbo but not my much

You can see where it dumps out here. This picture makes me want to clean the a/c compressor and oil pan because every thing else is so clean

Nice Civic, I have a 97 coupe that I was daily driving until someone totaled it in a parking lot. I am rebuilding it and cant decide if I should swap it or not. Hopefully it will be as clean as your soon. I love the fact that the car is turbo and swapped but still has ac and power steering.

I recommend doing a B20 swap, the torque is awesome, even if you don't turbo it, it will still have plenty of power, the original Y8 that came in the car kind of gave me a bad taste for D series because of how easily I blew it up and when I got a taste of that B20 torque I could never go back. to keep AC with this swap if you want to keep your factory Civic compressor you have to get a Del Sol vtec bracket or the p7j bracket , I used a p7j bracket that I found on ebay

I was planning to turbo my Y8 but last week it started ticking and I cant figure out where it is coming from exactly. I know it is coming from the top end of the motor and it increases with rpm but cant find any valves out of adjustment, loose or broken valve springs or anything like that. I figured a swap might make me keep the car as a daily driver but I would need to keep my ac and power steering. Thanks for the info on your swap, sounds like it is fun to drive.

When my d16 started ticking it was a rod knock. If you have any questions about the swap hit me up. There is alot of misinformation out there about doing this swap.

This is either a very nice picture of your civic on a beautiful backdrop or it broke down. I’m hoping it’s the first one, looks like a fun road to drive.
