^yup that's a good thread, it shows very well the diffs between the 2 boosters. For me, Vtechno taught me never to install a DX/LX mc on ABS booster!:

One thing that totally slipped my mind was using an adapter, so there would be no reflaring. The double flare adapter fitting would need to be M12X1.0 male thread going down to M10X1.0 female thread. I'm not exactly sure what to officially call the fitting, but some have mentioned their parts stores having that exact fitting. It also gets confusing since the flares need to be oriented in the right direction too. The MC has a brass cone (convex), so the M12 adapter end would need to be an inverted flare (concave). Then the M10 adapter end would need to be a cone to match up to the OEM inverted flare on the DX/LX brake line. 2 people from this thread/page 3 used adapters, '93CB7Ex got his from autozone:

I was always under the impression that DX/LX MC was 7/8", EX/SE was 15/16" and the Prelude VTEC and similar were 1" but I've never personally measured them.

The DX/LX master cylinder is 15/16". The EX Accord and the Prelude Si and Si VTEC master cylinder are both 1" and share a common part number.

^well that's some great info, I never even bothered to compare PN's between the EX/SE vs Prelude VTEC. I know I've read on this forum many times about EX/SE guys "upgrading" to a VTEC BMC. I know I'm def guilty of regurgitating some of that bad info

I read a bunch of threads about the ABS delete except that one, which had the information I was looking for haha. I was reading that thread & one member said, " You put non abs lines in?" ...what the hell is he talking about non-abs line?

That fitting would be perfect for the conversion. Unfortunately, my MC is leaking so I think I am going to just go with the DX/LX MC.

Yeah I was just wondering the bore size differences because I couldn't find out if there was a difference in the BB sizes or if that even mattered at all.

          Thanks!
