Ok I have a '90 Accord EX, a while back i swapped out the original motor for a '95(f22B1..i think). The motor runs but, it cuts out at about 5G and it will rev when shifting from 2nd to 3rd(it's automatic). I have no idea what is wrong. Someone told me that a '95 motor has 2 MAP Sensors and mine only has one. Is that it or is it that the '95 has a different ECU?

Ok, i was checking it out yesterday and i remembered that i relocated the o2 Sensor which was on the manifold on the 95 to the pipe just after the downpipe. Since i had to extend the wiring by adding more wire, I'm thinking that i may have used the wrong resistance wire. Is this possible?
Also, what sensor is supposed to be on top of the 95 intake plenum? TPS? This could also cause the revving if it's missing right?

Oh man... So many issues here... The wires resistance isn't going to make dick for difference on the Oxy sensor. Unless you made it from 30 GA wire and have it 20 feet long. The map sensor on 5, 6 and 7G Accords are all on the throttle body. The ECU isn't going to make dick for difference here either, unless it's a VTEC engine. If the wiring harness is the original unit, then the only differences here are intake and exhaust manifolds. But all of the sensors hook up the same. If the transmission is slipping, then that's an entirely mechanical problem with the transmission itself, and shouldn't have anything to do with your other problems.Visit us at http://www.valleyspecialists.com for all of your Honda and Acura service needs!
