right why dont you remove yoru brake pad retaining clips while you remove the seat belt computer, and maybe run 2 lug nuts instead of 4. J/p but ecu need to stay in place and seat belts need to work sorry.

for me, i have some good WD
      under the hood wise....
      a/c compressor removed
      a/c lines
      a/c fan
      cruise control
      PS
just alternator to crank pulley connection (unorthodox crank pulley, smaller and lighter)
      PS lines
      some peices of front bumper.
      cant think of anything esle.

      inside....
      no radio or speakers....removed
everything from back seat to truck....except windows...lol
      backseats removed
tar on back floor and seat area
      tar in trunk
      seat beats
brace on right and left sides
      back door panels
lil kick panel thingys that cover the wires on the side.
      recaro race seats
carpet removed (and installation) replced with 1-2pound carpet.
      everything in trunk removed.
      and cant remember what else.

i just did the tar and a/c compressor, all that shit together was a load, i had like 2-3 bags of tar, then the compressor and a/c lines in the other hand.....felt like i was carrying groceries

the tar was easy for me, it started as an accident, i was hammering something and the hammer slip and hit the tar, the tar just broke and poped up so i was like hm......

got a gasket remover, set it in place and took a soft tip hammer and start chiseling it up, came up with little effort.

and the thing is, if u got in the car (front pass seat, u would even tell all this was removed....until u look in the back...

Get some zip-ties for that ECU, and rip out the other crap! Good additions!

And John, seatbelts only need to work if you have stock seatbelts Get a racing harness and you're good to go! (of course, that put that out of Level 1)

Alright, I got around to weighing the crap I had lying around. Some of it has probably already been covered but here it goes ...

                Seat belts - 3lbs a piece, 12lbs total
                Rear seat - 42lbs
                Stock hood - 57lbs
                Rear door panels - 7lbs a piece
                Front door panels - 9lbs a piece
                Front speaker - 2lbs a piece
                Front seat - 43lbs a piece

On a side note my racing seats weighed 30 lbs a piece, and I just weighed my car today ... 2550lbs

You CAN weigh your car at truck weigh stations along the highway. They aren't terribly accurate for such low weights (since they usually measure tons) but it'll be close enough. I don't know how cool they'll be with it though... You'd need to ask and find out!

See I was wondering this till I got a great idea ... I just went to the nearest landfill bout ten minutes away and pulled up and just bs'ed with the guy like asking him how late they are open, and while I was doing that I get to look at the weight readout and my car gets weighed for free hahaha.
