ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    bent axle into motor mount..

I feel like an idiot because I got it recently.
Is there anyone that could fix it for a good price?
    I can't find under $1300.

I hydroplaned and hit a curb, it bent the axle into the motor mount and messed up the suspension. It made me extremely sad. But if I cant get a better price, I may have to salvage it.

Do like I did when I totaled my rear end. Had about $900 damages, fixed it myself for around $200.

Do you have any body damage or is it just the driver's side axle and suspension parts?

If you post a picture of the damage it would help.
From your post I'm guessing you're not currently mechanically inclined, and without doing the work yourself, I would guess it's not going to cost less than your lowest quote. Still, ask yourself where can you find a good car for $1300? If you actually have the cash, repair may be your best option, unless you can find a well functioning car for less $$.

If you have the time and interest, you could fix it for less-much less.

A new axle (remanufactured) could run you $180, other suspension parts (depending on what it damaged) could run you $150-$250, $20 for fasteners, a Junkyard motor mount (assuming yours is damaged) I don't know, less than $50, and your time, and add on $80 for a professional alignement when you are done.

The more expensive and/or specialized tools (torque wrench, for example), or tie rod separator) could be borrowed from a place like Autozone.

Much less than $1300 in that case.

However, it's what most people who don't normally take their cars apart would consider a "big job" and you would have to read up and learn, maybe watch some videos on the internet to get a sense of what's involved for replacing each part.

Junk yard is your best friend. I'm going there soon for my car parts. Call junk yard around and see if they have what you need and bargain with them

I recommend you buy hayne manual. It will help you taking thing apart like i did
