    Roof rack options?

Does anyone make a solid roof rack for our cars?
I am constantly needing to get a piece of plywood, a few 10 2x4s, sheetrock, or some other 4x8 sheet material and I always have to wait for either my Dad to use his FJ40 or neighbor with his Tacoma... getting tired of it.

So is there a solid rack that can hold 75± pounds of material safely?

I was just considering asking the same thing, I really like how they look, and I would like the ability to haul stuff.
    I'm faster then a prius

Might have to DIY this one because most brands I can find are not that sturdy.

That or I need to get my ass in gear and install my Reese trailer hitch. I just want something simple and easy that I can throw sh*t on top of my car and go.

Yakima makes one for our cars. I paid about 500 new for it back in 2008, so they are pricey. You can find them used on Craigslist for 200 or so.
